These editions are particularly turned to nature. With the cooperation of the best authors concerned by approached subjects, works are tools of reference and popularization, they alloy rigour and feelings.
These are also, for some, the only synthetic documents existing on the territory to make the preliminary identification of fauna and marine flora, environmental impact assessments, do the stocktakings of species …
They allow to know Caledonian environment better to participate better in the preservation of the coral ecosystems, and of seas in general, while the Caledonian lagoons were inscribed to the Worldwide Heritage of the UNESCO in July, 2008
Books for the youth, of a big moral sense, also have a link with nature, and posters - pedagogic and fancy boardwalk are entirely dedicated there.
